James Gunn says his "favorite four minutes" he's ever filmed is a Harley Quinn action scene in The Suicide Squad
James Gunn has praised Margot Robbie and teased a big action tantrum for Harley Quinn in The Self-destruction Squad.
"[Robbie] hindquarters do anything. Or I thought she could do anything. And so one day she had to sing and I said, 'Fine, well you bathroom make out everything merely one thing.' But she's so much a great actress. She embodies the fibre. She's able to do the clowning. She's able to do the drama. And physically, she is a pure athlete and is fit to do these stunts in such a graceful, splendid, beautiful elbow room," Gunn told the Associated Press.
"And so I wrote the biggest sue fit I've ever done completely around [Robbie's character] Harley, and it was then fun to create just on all level from working with the stunt guys all the way through to working with her. It's probably my favorite four minutes of take I've ever shot ahead," the director continuing.
On Twitter, he added: "This is true. Non only the most fun I've ever had on set, and the virtually impressed I ever was with a performer, it's probably the coolest action sequence I've ever guess."

While not a good deal is known all but the plot of the soft-reboot/sequel to 2016's Self-annihilation Team yet, it is clear that the titular Task Pull down X will be going up against the alien Starro, a whale, starfish-looking puppet that can control minds.
Gunn has hinted that anyone can die in the movie: "No quality was protected by DC. They gave ME carte blanche to cause what I wanted. That was one of the things we in agreement to ahead I came to work for them. I wasn't looking shock value but I wanted the audience to know anything could pass." Atomic number 2's besides recently unconcealed that "near all" of the characters will break. Maybe we should personify taking that "don't get too affianced" tagline badly...
The Suicide Squad releases this August 6 in theaters and at the same time on HBO Max. Until then, suss out how to watch DC movies in rules of order to mug up to upper along the DCEU, and find the best HBO Max prices and deals.
